About
Founded in 2009 in Fukuoka, the home of tonkotsu ramen, Kanada-Ya is built on patience and precision.
Zuru Zuru was created by Kanada-chan, inspired by the joyful sound of slurping she grew up hearing in her brother’s kitchen.
In Ealing, she continues the tradition with 18-hour slow-simmered tonkotsu broth, alongside Hakata-style ramen, donburi and sukiyaki
— each bowl filled with true Kanada-Ya soul and a little extra Zuru Zuru joy.

About
Kanada-Ya was founded in 2009 in Fukuoka — the birthplace of traditional tonkotsu ramen,
where patience and precision define the craft.
Zuru Zuru was created by Kanada-chan, the younger sister of the Kanada family.
Growing up in her brother’s ramen kitchen, she learned that the loudest “zuru zuru”
— the joyful sound of slurping — is the greatest compliment. That sound became our name.
Today in Ealing, she continues the family tradition. Our tonkotsu broth is simmered low and slow for around 18 hours,
allowing marrow and collagen to melt into a rich, creamy soup — with no shortcuts, ever.
Alongside authentic Hakata-style ramen, she brings her favourite dishes like donburi and sukiyaki
— each bowl carrying the true Kanada-Ya soul, with a little extra Zuru Zuru joy.
